Edward has strong values on how he conducts himself, his business and for his family. Some of these are why he chose to walk away from a 17-year Army Career. One of those key values for Ed is relationships. Ed fosters great relationships and is one of the foundation building blocks of The Business League. The Business League is Edward’s opportunity to build strong relationships with business leaders in the local community. Edward has invested in creating a strong business community as he believes, a strong business community will support creating a great environment on the Gold Coast for him to raise his family.
Edward Plant recognises that traditionally businesses utilise networking to generate business and for referral marketing. In his opinion, there is so much more to it than just networking or referrals. His perspective is that networking is just a small component of what businesses need to do. There is so much more that business owners can benefit from than just networking. And at the heart of this is relationships. But there is also growth through education, learning of each other, developing new strategies for your business and structured masterminding. Businesses also need to understand what they want to achieve in networking, who they need to connect with, how they are going to develop their resources and skills to grow their business and then actively develop and implement strategies that will grow their business.
